What is e-liquid?

E-liquid, otherwise known as e-cigarette liquid, vape juice, vape liquid and e-juice, is the fluid that is injected inside the tank of your e-cigarette hardware. It comes in a variety of different flavour profiles, from fruits and fizzy drinks to some of your favourite foods including pancakes, muffins and even liquorice too. You can also buy flavourless e-liquid if you prefer.

E-liquid is turned into vapour when it’s heated inside the cartridge by the coil, and this is the flavour-packed substance that you inhale.

How is it made and what are the ingredients?

E-liquid is made using four main ingredients: vegetable glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), flavourings and nicotine (although not all e-liquid, such as short fills, will contain nicotine). The ingredients are carefully measured and blended together to get the desired consistency, nicotine level and flavour.

What are the different strengths?

In a lot of cases, you’re able to alter the strength of the nicotine delivery you receive on your e-cigarette itself, but it’s also important to make sure you buy the right strength e-liquid to put into your vape. We offer a variety of different strengths, from 0mg – 20mg.

Which strength is right for me?

The easiest way to determine the strength of e-liquid you may want or need is by how much you smoked/still smoke. Here’s a rough guide: if it is or was 5 or less a day, start with 6mg; if between 5 and 15 cigarettes try 10mg and if your usual smoking consists of more than 15 a day, start with 18/20mg – you can always look to reduce as you go if you want to. You can of course opt for 0mg nicotine too; this nicotine-free alternative is great for successful quitters who want to try vaping or even non-smokers who are interested in the different flavours.

Another option is to buy nicotine-free short fills (as these are available in bigger quantities) and add nicotine which you can buy separately.
